Kruuse foam dressing is a non adhesive dressing. Made from a highly adsorbent foam wound covering with a bacterial proof microporous thin foam backing. The dressing structure allows the wound to breath by allowing oxygen in and transferring moisture away from the wound. This dressing creates an environment that stimulates autolytic debridement and wound healing whilst providing a moist wound environment

Kruuse foam dressings are suited to the following wounds

Wounds with moderate levels of exudate
Flat or shallow wounds
Moderately infected/contaminated wounds

Advantages of Kruuse foam dressing

Non adherent – minimises disruption to tissues on removal and therefore minimises pain at dressing changes
Quick and easy to apply
Good fluid handling capability and can remain on wounds for up to 7 days
Hydrophilic foam expands as it absorbs moisture conforming to shallow cavities

Solosite Gel 50g

Solosite is a non-cytotoxic polymer gel that provides a moist environment to the surface of a wound. Solosite aids in the absorption of exudate from a wound slowing the build up of cellular debris and preventing slough formation. By providing a moist wound environment at the wound surface it prevents eschar formation and therefore promotes faster healing.

Solosite is ideal for wounds that are deep or have a cavity formation where regular bandaging will not provide adequate wound coverage. Solosite gel can be used in combination with a large array of wound dressings and under bandages.

Solosite is easily applied and can be removed at dressing changes with gentle irrigation.
