The formulation of the wormer is designed to dissolve on the tongue quickly and therefore aiding administration. It is packaged in a dial up syringe to allow accurate and easy dosing according to the horses weight. A single syringe can treat a horse of up to 575 kg.

Do not use in foals under the age of 4 weeks of age. It is safe to use in pregnant mares, stallions and foals over the age of 4 weeks.

The paste is a long acting formulation and re treatment is recommended after 14 to 16 weeks.

Equest plus tape is claimed to be the only gel horse wormer effective as a single dose against the encysted stages of small strongyles, developing stages, late stages and aiding in the control of encysted stages, including inhibited lavae.
