Active ingredients
Thiamine disulphide nitrate (vitamin B1) 20mg/ml, Riboflavin (vitaminB2) 5mg/ml, Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 20mg/ml, nicotinamide (vitamin B3) 60mg/ml, pantothenate (vitamin B5) 20mg/ml, Hydroxocolbalamine (vitamin B12) 200ug/ml
The B complex vitamins are closely dependant on one another for total overall function and deficiency in one will ultimately lead to the reduced activity of all others. Vitamin B is water soluble so very easily excreted from the body so supplementation needs to occur on a regular basis. B complex vitamins are essential in red blood cell formation, maintain normal energy metabolism, maintain nerve and muscle function. They are required for growth and health of skin and mucous membranes and the visual process. In high doses vitamin b can help reduce nervousness. B complex vitamins help increase the performance of horses in high stress situations and can aid in the recovery from illness or surgery.
Use in horses
Give 5 to 10 ml per horse by intramuscular injection twice weekly or under the guidance of a veterinary surgeon.
