4Cyte equine is a revolutionary advancement in oral supplements for horses suffering from osteoarthritis.

Lameness due to joint injury and progressive disease is the most prevalent cause of deteriorating athletic function in performance horses and constitutes a large percentage of the equine practitioner’s caseload. Most joint conditions have the potential to lead to osteoarthritis (OA), which in turn has a poor prognosis for return to normal athletic function. 4CYTE™ Equine brings confidence to a new class of veterinary products. 4CYTE™ Equine is indicated for use when treating mild to moderate OA, after joint damage or surgery.

4Cyte can either be used as a preventative to promote healthy joints in high performance horses or support in cases of moderate to severe arthritis in conjunction with pain medications.

Active Ingredients

New Zealand Green lipped muscle – Important source of PUFA’s and amino acids which help regulate chemical mediators in the joint.
Marine Cartilage – natural source of glycosaminoglycans (GAG’s) essential for healthy synovial fluid and cartilage
Abalone – source of omega 3 fatty acids that may help decrease Nitric Oxide production and therefore maintain chondrocyte and cartilage health

Directions for Use

4Cyte can be taken safely with other medications and is not swabable for competition. It should NOT be given to mares during pregnancy.

Introduce 4Cyte slowly over a 5 day period gradually increasing to required dose.

Treatment dose- feed 1 scoop (21g) once daily for 4 weeks. After this period dose can be reduced to maintenance

Maintenance dose – ½ scoop (10.5g) once daily in feed.

If mixing in feed is not possible then the granules can be crushed and mixed with a palatable binder such as molasses and administered orally.

Broad Spectrum abamectin and morantel tartrate horse wormer and bot paste

Active ingredients

Abamectin 4mg/ml and Morantel Tartrate 167mg/ml

Ammo is a mectin based wormer with a tape wormer added and can be used in the treatment program for the treatment of most worms found in horses. IT treats and controls the following worms.

Dosage

The paste is dosed at 5ml per 100kg body weight so a full 32.5g syringe will treat up to 600KG. The syringe has a dial mechanism so dosing can be done accurately on a weight basis.

Ammo all wormer is safe to use in pregnant mares and foals over 4 weeks of age

An individual worming program varies between horses and properties and is based on climatic and stocking conditions. Generally horses should be wormed every 6 to 8 weeks commencing from about 6 weeks of age. Any Horse introduced to a property should be wormed immediately on arrival and quarantined from other horses for several days. If in doubt discuss your worming programme with a veterinarian and faecal egg count can be done to assess worm activity.

Animalintex is an absorbent multi-layered poultice and wound dressing. It can be used as a hot poultice, cold poultice or dry dressing and is suitable for the treatment of infected wounds, open wounds, foot punctures, corns, bruised soles, thrush, seedy toe, abscesses, laminitis, sandcracks and thorns.

Suitable for horses and dogs, the dressing contains Boric Acid BP, an active ingredient which promotes effective healing, plus tragacanth, a natural poulticing agent that draws infection out of the wound. Animalintex is made in Robinson Healthcare’s UK manufacturing facility. Every batch has to be signed off by a Qualified Person to Veterinary Medical Directorate requirements to ensure consistent dosing and quality of ingredients.

B-Quiet is a paste containing thiamine and magnesium to nutritionally supplement and support nervous, excitable and high strung horses. It can assist horses prior to being exposed to stressful events such as travel competition or early stages of training

Active ingredients in 60gm tube

Magnesium 5000mg, Thiamine (vitamin B1) 1000mg

B-Quiet paste contains concentrated levels of thiamine (vitamin B1) and magnesium. Thiamine plays an essential role in carbohydrate metabolism and nerve transmission. Magnesium is required for the synthesis and of protein and digestion of starches as well as many other enzymatic functions. In hard working hoses or those on high grain diets production of thiamine by intestinal bacteria may be reduced due to stress and hind gut acidosis. When thiamine and magnesium levels fall below essential levels horses may not perform at their best. B-Quiet paste can be used in all horses prior to and during competition.

Dosage

Give one to two tubes per hose on the day of competition, travel or other stressful event.

Cetrigen Aerosol 100g

Cetrigen is an antiseptic wound spray useful in the treatment of superficial cuts and scrapes. It also contains to insectasides to repel insects from the wound area and therefore minimise secondary wound contamination. The purple dye helps with visualisation for application

It is a great addition to any first aid kit

Active ingredients are

Cetrimidine 1mg/g which is an antiseptic compound that inhibits the growth of bacteria.
Di-N-propyl isocinchomeronate 20mg/g and Diethyltoluamide 40mg/g both highly effective insect repellants

Cetrogen is formulated as a first aid treatment for minor scrapes and injuries. The wound should be cleaned with running water of any dirt and debris. The spray is then applied lightly to the wound from a distance of 10 cm.

Cetrigen can be applied to areas after surgical procedures as an effective insect repellent. Always check with your veterinarian first before applying to any surgical site.

If the wound is more than a light scrape or is not healing then veterinary assistance should be sought immediately. If skin irritation occurs discontinue use and contact a Veterinarian.
